FAQs

Are these safe for drinking water? Yes—Norwesco tanks use food-grade, potable-safe polyethylene. Follow our first-fill disinfection guide and use potable-rated fittings/hoses.

Why dark green? Darker walls reduce light penetration, helping limit algae growth for outside storage.

Do I need a concrete pad? Not always. A level, compacted DG/road base pad is acceptable for many installs. We’ll advise based on tank size, soil, and code.

Can you plumb it into my home or irrigation? Yes. We offer turn-key valve sets, pump tie-ins, pressure regulators, and backflow assemblies (where required).

What about wildfire/fire-hose connections? We provide local-spec fire fittings (NST/NH, Storz, etc.) when permitted. Always confirm with your fire authority (AHJ).

How long is the warranty? Norwesco provides a 3-year limited manufacturer warranty. We stand behind delivery and placement workmanship, too.
